Jan 28, 2017  Pioneer DDJ-SR MIDI Mapping for Mixxx Description. This is my attempt at mapping the Pioneer DDJ-SR for Mixxx. This was originally written for Mixxx v1.11.0, but I'm in the process of updating it to Mixxx 2.0 as of January 2017. If you haven't already heard, Mixxx 2.0 was released the other day. Among many new improvements are included mappings for the Pioneer DDJ-SB and DDJ-SB2. Support was also added for another cheap controller that may interest beginners, the Electrix Tweaker which costs only $100 with a free case but doesn't have a built-in sound card. DDJ-SB2 works with other MIDI-compatible software besides Serato DJ Pro, by assigning MIDI message. Please refer to the list of MIDI messages to find mapping values of all buttons and knobs. To assign MIDI message to all software function, please refer to your manufacturers' software manual.

Mixxx controller mappings for the Pioneer DDJ SB3

The first Serato DJ enabled controller in our partnership with Roland, the DJ-808, is also supported in this update.As well as this, 1.9.3 brings support for Ableton Link which enables you to send BPM information over a wireless network to keep multiple Link applications, including Ableton or a second Serato DJ setup in time. Serato SamplerThe Serato DJ Sample Player has been updated from the classic SP-6 and transforms into the new Serato Sampler, which now includes two extra sample slots, allowing a total of eight samples to be loaded at once. Our improved Sampler section now includes 8 slots giving control of 32 samples over 4 banks for sample play.
